Engagement card and a try at distressing

I made this card for a friend. I dont often play with distressing and I also don't very often not use stamped images so this was a new adventure for me. I like it a lot. I cut the names from  my new sizzix alphabet that I bought recently at a great price on the sizzix site, I think it was down to about £16 !!!! Its cold and damp here in the north and that gives me the perfect excuse to play in my craft room this afternoon  !!!!

This months Sugar Bowl entry

Here is my purple and green entry for this months sugar bowl. Didn't really spend enough time shading her. Too much work and not enough time and a husband who drags me out when its sunny.... oh for rainy days when there's nothing to do but craft .......
Might go in by the House of Sugar today though  - just for a browse of course !!!

Here are my latest additions.As you can see I also like to bead.  Unfortunately nightshifts are eating up my life and not only restrict my crafting time but also the time I have to write on and look at the blogging world. I'm afraid I'm not so good at writing about my creations, but if you are curious about any of my stamps or backing papers then let me know and I'll pass on what I used.
